The frustrating thing with this photo shoot was that the cats would play with the toys like crazy . . . until I got the camera out. Then they would sit down and just look at me. Meowy finally cooperated a little, so I could get a few shots. The other two, not at all. Sam, almost.
I stopped by your other blog first and saw you made bio-char. I have a friend who makes it. Wish I'd known you can use bamboo to make it. I just got rid of a large amount of very invasive bamboo about three months ago.
My cats refuse to act when I get the camera out. They either hide or turn their backs to the camera. I admire people whose cats will pose for photos. I had to laugh at your adorable cats. Typical indeed!! They are truly adorable, though.
Bleubeard and Elizabeth, I've read that bamboo makes wonderful biochar. It grows around here, but not on our property. I'd love to plant some but worry about it's invasiveness. On the other hand, my goats would definitely keep it under control!
TB, our oldest cat also won't play in front of the other cats. Apparently, that is beneath his dignity!

Cats are very conscious about their social image.
EricaSta and Christine, thank you!
